LAX TENANT RECEIVES "GOOD EARTHKEEPING" AWARD FROM CITY
(Los Angeles, California – April 14, 2000) Hudson General, a Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) tenant and member of LAX’s Source Reduction and Recycling Program, today received a "Good Earthkeeping" award from City Councilmember Ruth Galanter for implementing the airport’s first on-site "green" renovation project.

BOARD OF AIRPORT COMMISSIONERS HOLDS EVENING MEETING IN VAN NUYS
(Van Nuys, CA)- The Board of Airport Commissioners for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will meet in Van Nuys at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, at the Airtel Plaza Hotel. Scheduled agenda items will cover topics affecting the four LAWA-owned and operated airports, which include Los Angeles International, Ontario International, Palmdale Regional and Van Nuys. FIRST PHASE OF LAX’S SEPULVEDA TUNNEL REPAINTING REQUIRES WEEKEND LANE CLOSURES DURING PERIODS IN APRIL
(Los Angeles, CA – March 29, 2000) Motorists using the Sepulveda Tunnel adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) this weekend will see the first phase of its repainting take place as part of a major upgrade of the six-lane tunnel that includes its lengthening and the addition of several safety and aesthetic improvements.

ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DAILY FLIGHTS INCREASE
Ontario, California --- (March 20, 2000) Ontario International Airport’s (ONT) 270 daily flights increased by four on March 12 when Southwest Airlines added one new daily nonstop flight to Nashville and one daily roundtrip service to Sacramento. The flights bring to ONT two new arrivals and two new departures. Southwest Airlines – ONT’s major carrier – handles more than 40 percent of ONT’s passengers.

MAYOR RIORDAN NAMES LYDIA KENNARD EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS

NEW NIGHT LANE CLOSURE HOURS IN LAX’S SEPULVEDA TUNNEL
WHAT:Construction crews will be working in the Sepulveda Tunnel at the intersection of the I-105 Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard adjacent to Los Angeles International Airport. Two of the three lanes in both the northbound and southbound directions of the tunnel and the southbound upper and lower exits from the airport to Sepulveda Boulevard will be temporarily closed.
