WEATHER ELSEWHERE IN THE U.S. CAUSING SOME FLIGHT DELAYS DURING HOLIDAY TRAVEL DAY AT LAX
(Los Angeles, California – December 27, 2016) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) officials report winter weather in parts of the U.S. is causing some flight delays, but few cancellations.  From midnight to noon airlines are reporting 43 arrival delays, 23 departure delays, 2 arrival and 0 departure flight cancellations.

FEWER FLIGHT DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS DURING ANOTHER BUSY HOLIDAY TRAVEL DAY AT LAX
(Los Angeles, California – December 26, 2016) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) officials report another busy day today at LAX with more than 1800 flight operations and nearly 234,000 passengers. From noon to midnight there have been a reported 81 arrival delays, 50 departure delays, 1 arrival and 3 departure flight cancellations.

RECORD 4.3 MILLION TRAVELERS TO USE LAX THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is expecting another record holiday season with an estimated 4.3 million travelers taking to the skies to celebrate with family and friends.  This is 9.5 percent above last year’s record 3.9 million passengers.

LAX GUESTS WILL BE TREATED TO LIVE MUSICAL ARTS PROGRAM LAUNCHING IN 2017

LAWA HIRES NEW DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO OVERSEE AIRPORT OPERATIONS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
