ADVISORY: LAX POLICE INCIDENT
An estimated 4,600 arriving and departing passengers are estimated to have been impacted at LAX due to the incident.  Both Delta Airlines (Terminal 5) and American Airlines (Terminal 4) are reporting a total of 60 delayed flights (inbound and outbound) for this evening, but no cancellations at this point in time.  Delta Airlines diverted four arriving flights to regional airports and those flights are expected to refuel and then continue on to LAX tonight.

LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL COMPRESSED-NATURAL-GAS VANS
 (Los Angeles, California – November 14, 2013)  The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today approved purchase of an additional 15 compressed-natural-gas (CNG) transit vans.  Contract for the vehicles, in the amount of $703,468, was awarded to South Bay Ford, Inc., doing business as South Bay Ford Lincoln.

LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS APPROVES $7.07 MILLION TO CITY OF INGLEWOOD FOR NOISE MITIGATION EFFORTS
(Los Angeles, California – November 14, 2013)  The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners today authorized a Letter of Agreement with the City of Inglewood and a grant of $7.07 million to Inglewood that will enable sound-insulation construction work on 173 dwelling units, and design and engineering for another 131 units.
