THANKSGIVING TRAVEL AT LAX TO REACH 1.53 MILLION PASSENGERS; VOLUNTEER LAX PASSENGER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM RETURNS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
(Los Angeles, California – November 18, 2010) Passenger volume at Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) is expected to increase nearly three percent this Thanksgiving travel period to 1.53 million passengers from 1.49 million last year. The 10-day Thanksgiving travel period begins this Friday, Nov. 19, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 28.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY—EASTBOUND I-105 ON-RAMP NEAR LAX TO CLOSE 6 HOURS ON OCTOBER 31
(Los Angeles, California -- October 29, 2010) According to the California Department of Transportation, the on-ramp to the eastbound I-105 from southbound Sepulveda Boulevard at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be closed for restriping. The closure will affect the two lanes leading to the on-ramp and to westbound Imperial Highway from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010.
