- - TERMINAL ACCESS ADVISORY - - RENOVATION WORK BRINGS PARTIAL CLOSURE TO ARRIVALS LEVEL AT TOM BRADLEY INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL AT LAX
(Los Angeles, California – September 9, 2009) Los AngelesInternationalAirport announced the partial closure of the north side lower arrivals level of the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). The closure is effective September 13 to January 21, 2010, and is due to the scheduled renovation of the “Meet and Greet” area.  Travelers will not have access to both the north patio door and the elevators in this area

            In this position, Feldman is responsible for the activities of the Facilities Planning, Facilities Engineering, Environmental Services, Inspection Services, and Construction and Maintenance divisions.

AIRLINES SIGN FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND ONGOING SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH RENTECH AND ASIG FOR RENEWABLE SYNTHETIC DIESEL FUEL TO BE USED IN LAX GROUND SERVICE EQUIPMENT

  (Washington -- August 18, 2009)  The Air Transport Association of America, Inc. (ATA), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines, announced today that eight of its member airlines have signed an unprecedented agreement with Rentech, Inc. and Aircraft Service International Group (ASIG) to purchase up to 1.5 million gallons per year of renewable synthetic diesel fuel (RenDiesel) for use in ground service equipment at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) beginning in late 2012, when Rentech’s plant to produce the fuel is scheduled to go into service.

            The initial airline purchasers of RenDiesel are Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, UPS Airlines and US Airways, with the potential for adding other airline partners.

LAX ANNOUNCES TRAFFIC IN AND OUT OF THE AIRPORT IS RUNNING SMOOTHLY AND WITHOUT DELAYS

LAWA COMPLETES PURCHASE OF 20-ACRE PARCEL EAST OF TERMINAL 1 AT LAX; SITE TO CONTINUE TO OPERATE AS AIRPORT PARKING LOT
     Los Angeles World Airports today announced completion of the purchase of a 20-acre parcel just east of Terminal 1 at Los AngelesInternationalAirport (LAX) for $125 million.  Airport officials plan to continue the existing lease of the property to a private operator who operates the property under the name Park One and to receive lease revenues.
