ADDENDUM TO FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT RELEASED FOR LAX MASTER PLAN

(Los Angeles, California - Sept. 22, 2004) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) today released the Addendum to the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for the modernization of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

The Addendum to the Final EIR consists of an introduction (Chapter 1) as well as the following technical components: Additional Discussion of Environmental Consequences relative to the Relocation Plan/Property Acquisition, Environmental Justice, and Air Quality

Circle of Unity at LAX with a moment of silence at the landmark Theme Building. The public, airport employees and passengers are invited to form a silent human "Circle of Unity" around the memorial art piece located in the lobby of the LAX Theme Building -- recreating the one held Sept. 14, 2001, the first full day of flight activity after the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

(Los Angeles, California – September 8, 2004) Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will commemorate the third anniversary of the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, with a "Circle of Unity" ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at the airport's landmark Theme Building in the Central Terminal Area.

LAX was tragically linked to the terrorist attacks on our nation, as three of the four hijacked flights were bound for LAX.

LAWA DECLARES SEPTEMBER FILM FRIENDLY AWARENESS MONTH
(Los Angeles, CA - September 7, 2004) -- The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners and the staff of Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) today declared September 2004 as "Los Angeles World Airports Film Friendly Awareness Month,' noting that on-going film production at the City's airports creates good jobs and economic benefits for the entire region.

LOS ANGELES BOARD OF AIRPORT COMMISSIONERS ELECTS OFFICERS

(Los Angeles, CA - September 7, 2004) The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) today elected Cheryl K. Petersen as its president and W. Jerome Stanley as vice president.

Petersen, who has served on the commission since September 2000, most recently was BOAC vice president.

OPERATIONS RETURNING TO NORMAL AT LAX FOLLOWING TWO INCIDENTS
(Los Angeles, California, September 4, 2004) -- Los Angeles International Airport returned to normal Saturday after two unrelated incidents resulted in four of the nine passenger terminals being closed and vehicle traffic restricted for about three hours. Neither incident was terrorism-related.

ONTARIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OFFERS LABOR DAY WEEKEND TRAVEL TIPS
(Ontario, California – September 1, 2004)  Ontario International Airport (ONT) is expecting a busy travel period this Labor Day weekend. The busiest days will be Thursday, Sept. 2 and Monday, Sept. 6 when nearly 40,000 travelers are expected to use the airport on each of those days. ONT services approximately 19,000 passengers on an average day.

LOS ANGELES AIRPORT EXPECTS 785,000 TRAVELERS OVER LABOR DAY WEEKEND
(Los Angeles, California – August 31, 2004)  Los Angeles International Airport's (LAX) busiest summer travel season since 2001 concludes with the four-day Labor Day weekend. An estimated 785,000 travelers are expected to depart and arrive on flights at LAX from Friday, Sept. 3, through Monday, Sept. 6, up from 700,000 for the same period last year.

LOS ANGELES AND ONTARIO AIRPORTS CONTINUE UPWARD TREND

(Los Angeles, California – August 20, 2004) Double-digit passenger traffic growth continued in July at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Total passenger volume increased 11 percent to 5,988,269 passengers for the month, airport officials reported.
