LOS ANGELES AND ONTARIO AIRPORTS CONTINUE UPWARD TREND

(Los Angeles, California – August 20, 2004) Double-digit passenger traffic growth continued in July at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Total passenger volume increased 11 percent to 5,988,269 passengers for the month, airport officials reported.

CRIME AT LOS ANGELES AIRPORT CONTINUES DECLINE INTO FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

(Los Angeles, California – July 14, 2004) Law enforcement officials at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) report that crimes against people and property dropped six percent during the first six months this year compared to the same period in 2003 -- the fourth year of declining crime during the first six months. Nearly every main classification of crimes against persons and property at LAX decreased from January through June this year, during which the airport handled 11 percent more passengers, visitors and employees than last year.

(Los Angeles, California – June 24, 2004) Passenger traffic at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in May soared 15.8 percent to 5,112,445 passengers compared with the same month in 2003, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) officials reported today. The increase was driven by a 27 percent jump in international traffic, while domestic traffic was up 12.2 percent. For the first five months of 2004, LAX passenger traffic totaled 23,804,448 -- up 11 percent compared with the same period a year ago.

SECOND PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULED FOR LAX MASTER PLAN PROGRAM
(Los Angeles, California -- June 10, 2004) The second public meeting on the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) and the Final Master Plan (Alternative D) for Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will be held Monday, June 14, 2004. It will begin at 3 p.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Room 515 A & B. Free parking will be available in the Convention Center's West Hall parking facility.
